Homes today are no longer just functional spaces—they are evolving into deeply personal environments that reflect how we live, feel and connect. They hold our routines, our rituals and the individuality that shapes each of us.
As we close Q1 of this year, and having designed for SS27 across several markets, we are seeing a few clear trends. Crafted irregularity is becoming important, where asymmetry and slightly “unfinished” looks are intentional. Patterns are becoming more playful, less rigid, and more fluid and distorted. There is also a growing focus on multi-sensory and tactile design, with textured layers and 3D surfaces adding depth and interest.
Looking ahead, there is a clear shift toward richer, more layered spaces. Clients are increasingly seeking colour, contrast and character—moving away from predictable palettes toward interiors that feel intentional, distinctive and full of life.
This approach is not about making everything perfect. It is about being real and authentic, and creating spaces that feel personal and meaningful.
For us, this means embracing thoughtful experimentation—using colour in more nuanced ways, adding depth through materials and storytelling, and designing pieces that stand out while still feeling warm and balanced.
In 2026, we move beyond the subdued and step confidently into a more expressive design language—one that balances creativity with purpose, and individuality with timelessness.
